MULLING SPICE -
Orange peel, cinnamon, cloves, and allspice
~ Naturally Caffeine Free
(includes one reusable muslin bag)

Mulling is an old practice, one that involves infusing warmed juices, ciders, or wines with a collection of luscious ingredients, and results in a smooth and soothing evening beverage. Our Mulling Spices follow the traditional ingredients of cinnamon, cloves, allspice, and dried orange peels, which create a well-rounded brew that is sweet, light, and addicting! We've even tried it with water alone, but recommend adding it to apple cider, red wine, or oolong tea.

Directions: Add 2 Tablespoons of Mulling Spice to muslin bag. In a large, nonreactive pot, add a half gallon of desired liquid and one bag of Mulling Spice. Cover and bring to a simmer. Remove cover and reduce to low heat. Simmer for 20 minutes or longer. Ladle into mugs and add a cinnamon stick if desired. May also be brewed with a pot of oolong tea. Just like the oolong tea, the flavors get even better of you steep it longer. Wash muslin bag.

Size: 1/4 pound (4 oz. weight, approximately 1 and 3/4 cups)
