Fennel Seed Tea a delightful herbal tea that has a warm, nutty flavor with a hint of licorice. As well as tasting great, fennel tea has medicinal purposes that make it far more valuable. If you’re feeling bloated, gassy, or have an upset stomach fennel can bring relief to you. It can also be used as a companion to laxatives. While some laxatives can cause uncomfortable intestinal cramping, fennel actually can relieve cramps and allow you to feel comfortable.
Science has shown that fennel works as an anti-inflammatory and an anti-spasmodic. It relieves muscle tension and cramping and soothes inflammatory problems in the body. It also contains stimulants that help to break up mucous in the respiratory tract and relieve congestion.

DIRECTIONS: Use 6 oz of water for each tea bag. Pour hot water over tea and steep for 5 minutes. Covering the cup with a saucer during steeping will retain the most nutrients. Never boil botanicals. Steep longer if desired, or reuse tea bag for a second cup. Sweeten to taste with honey or stevia if desired. Garnish with orange, lemon, or a mint leaf.
