This is a lovely Obedient Plant, also called Dragon Flower. They grow well in zones 2 - 9, in full sun to part shade. This is a larger variety of Obedient Plant, growing an average 2' to 4' high. They bloom a long season with spikes of soft pink, snapdragon-like flowers that are great in arrangements and for attracting hummingbirds. Dead-head for repeated blooming. They are beautiful! They thrive well in poor, dry, well-drained soil. I do not need to water mine, they are very drought tolerant. Plants growing in moist, part-shade areas may need staking. They are reliable bloomers and reproduce extremely well, giving you years of enjoyment. They are very hardy and very little care is needed. I believe the "strong shall survive" in my garden. You will appreciate my motto!
