Tulsi Tea is an extremely aromatic herbal tea that reminds me of a blend of anise, cinnamon, and cloves, but without the spicy bite. Adding a pinch of sugar brings out a hint of orange flavor. While difficult to describe, it is delightful to drink! A unique herb making it's way into American gardens, Holy Basil is widely known across South Asia as a medicinal plant and an herbal tea. DIRECTIONS: Use 6 oz of water for each tea bag. Pour hot water over tea and steep for 5 minutes. Covering the cup with a saucer during steeping will retain the most nutrients. Never boil botanicals. Steep longer if desired, or reuse tea bag for a second cup. Sweeten to taste with honey or stevia if desired. Garnish with orange, lemon, or stevia leaf.
